The Freeman Family

Seymour Grille is owned and operated by The Freeman Family. We purchased Seymour Grille on January 1st 2022 from The Braniecki Family. The restaurant is managed by two brothers, Sean and Nevin Freeman. Sean has worked in every aspect of the restaurant business over the past 20+ years. Sean has most recently served as a Director of Operations for a restaurant group out of Knoxville with restaurants in Sevier County such as Mellow Mushroom. Nevin has also worked in restaurants over the years, but also worked for many years as a manager of The UPS Store. Sean and his wife Becky have lived in Sevier County for the past 12 years and have been raising a young family in Seymour since 2016. Nevin is also a Seymour local!

Our mission is to provide the best guest experience possible by cultivating a culture among our team members that is unmatched in the area. We take great pride in being an employer of the younger generations. Providing a safe place for young people to cut their teeth and begin their path in the working world is one of our primary goals. We are proud to say that over the past year and a half we have put together a very capable team! We are excited about the continued future of Seymour Grille!

We are extremely thankful for all our local support! We hope that more and more people will get to experience the charming, hometown experience that Seymour Grille provides.

The Braniecki Family

The Seymour Grille was founded by Bob & Patty Braniecki, lifelong restaurant operators. Bob & Patty met in 1985 working together in a restaurant (where else), and have been together ever since. Their restaurant careers have taken them through New York, Florida, Virginia, before settling in Tennessee. Their restaurant careers have taken them to many types of restaurants, big & small, in all kinds of positions. From dishwasher, server, and cook to Assistant Manager, General Manager, District Manager, Market Leader, and beyond, their careers have led them to the best in Classic Country cooking. From fast food (Wendy's), to Mom & Pop stores (the General Store), to chains (Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, Pizzeria Uno, Mimi's Cafe) and a few more, Bob & Patty know the restaurant business. And they have taken all that knowledge and brought it to the Seymour Grille for you to enjoy!

After many years of service to the Seymour community, Bob & Patty retired from owning Seymour Grille in January of 2022. We thank them for all their hard work in developing the Seymour Grille concept! Cheers to Bob & Patty!
